Sock it to em!

Aaaah but being home, and warm and wearing soft, fluffy socks! This is the life! And no matching socks allowed in my world! My feet have their own tastes and don’t enjoy being dressed up as twins! And let’s face it, they look so much nicer mismatched, don’t you think? Almost edible! Yum yum!

wet wet wet paws

Ah walking in cold wet weather, this is the inevitable result! (Oh by the way I’m wearing jeans, they look all plasticy and shiny because they are 8 types of SOAKING WET!)

A. You try keep your wee feets as dry as possible but along comes that one puddle that half drowns them and introduces you to a whole new world of COLD! Look at all the merry raindrops all about!

B. Then of course there’s always the ginormous puddle you can’t avoid and which eagerly gobbles your feet up to the hilt!

C. Then come the pathways that have not only developed into streams but have their very own current! This one was trying to push me over and I had to brace myself deeply! Of course it would have been a lot easier if I hadn’t stopped halfway and thought, ooh, let’s take a pic!

D. Then just to add a finishing touch, please welcome the cars that drive past you at 200miles and hour and end up sending vast tsunamis of water at you! There is no where to run on a side walk. You just sigh, cover your mouth (don’t wanna know where that waters been), brace yourself, and, quiet literally, go with the flow!

Well right idea anyway

Obviously not inspired enough since it’s still alarmingly purple…

Hamsterifffic!

Man that’s cute! Baby hamsters are such little rascals and so flexible, how enviable! I want him! I want them all!!!! < - - has no defenses against cute things, utterly at their mercy!

Sign of the time - the second one!

Well now this sign is just interesting to read! It makes sense if you take it in chunks but it sounds very silly if you read it as a whole sentence, “please hoot beware of danger dogs” Danger dogs? Like a canine version of the Justice league? Go danger dogs!! :P

It is interesting to note that the house that had this sign on it, was right next to the printing place that put up this sign:-

Coincidence? I think not…

Oh hell no!

Okay… I’ll admit that when I think lawn ornaments I think tacky gnomes and stone deer and little cherub status with faces like small, happy demons! Whatever I pictured though, this wasn’t quiet it! I suppose it certainly would be an item of conversation? And you could tell the kids that if they don’t eat their beans the boogie-gnome will get them! (Just don’t be surprised if the poor tykes ends up with a neurotic condition and you come home to this thing chopped into splinters!)

Well right on then KERBOOM!!!!

This truck was parked right in front of me and required I walk around its massive butt to get to the other side. It’s that whole, “Explosives” part that got to me. As I walked past the truck, which had those warnings on pretty much every open bit of space, I had all these images of it suddenly blowing up, or the driver lighting his ciggie and causing a chain reaction and it blows up, or a car plowing into it and then it blows up, or I just cough and the truck decides it’s been a slow day and blows up anyway! Sometimes an active imagination is a terrible thing indeed!
