Over troubled water?

I’ve been passing this bridge for years and wondering about it. Last Tuesday (20 July 2010) I decided eh, bugger it, let’s go see what it’s about. It’s a bit rickety and not exactly confidence building, (I walked across with my hands at the ready to grasp at the rails should the floor fall out at any give second!). The water below is not exactly deep, but it’s filthy and full of broken glass and just not an ideal spot for a sudden unexpected dip. I think I’ll carry on walking around this from now on…
