True Romance

KYAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! Oh my word!! ~~~GINORMOUS WATERMELON!!!~~~

Isn’t it magnificent? Holy Smurfette! It was love at first sight! And that little yellow sticker on it informs us willing admirers that the bugger weighs a whooping 44kg!! That’s 6kg less then me! I could live in that shell! I want to live in that shell!!! Love was never this pure!!!

The Grizzly detail

I’m sorry to put such a graphically disturbing picture up and I know it’s hard to look at without crying. Yes. That would be a hole in my left sock!! The first sign of a sock soon to be sent to the rubbish bin! (Or hamster if it’s winter), my sock collection is critically low, so each time this happens a small part of my soul dies. Why? Why do such things happen in this world?!

What strange testees you have...

This is a pic of my fellow testees, (Yes, har har, I see the joke, laugh it up…), as we all waited for the Learner’s license test to begin. What I love is how everyone so carefully DOESN’T look at everyone else! They read the Mission statement on the wall till I bet some could recite it in their sleep! I had fun trying to catch people’s eyes! It never worked! I was in awfully good spirits, mostly due to daft facebook updates I was posting about how we still had to give blood and stool samples. It was a blast!! And yes, I passed!

Not exactly Tigger

Okay this pic is up on my adventure blog, but I had to repost it because it’s so beautiful!! That lush green grass makes me hungry just looking at it! (That made more sense before I typed it!) And this pic was taken at the Joburg zoo! I know hey, who knew?! Anyone living within a 50 mile radius and wants to come with next time, do let me know! I’ll give you a full guided tour and maybe even a sandwich! (If there’s someone around I can swipe it from!)

Slurpy

Okay I know to some people this is a picture of pure pleasure but it does freak me out a bit! I can’t say I’m keen on eating something that tastes you back! And look at that price! They can lick…er…stick it!

Isn’t he a fine specimen? I found him in my room and took him outside to freedom once more. Don’t get me wrong, I love praying mantis’s and keeping him as a pet would have dazzled my appendix, but I did decide that he was better off out in the wild where he could find a wonderful girlfriend, or boyfriend, I don’t judge, and set off to the life of a happy hunting insect! (OF course female praying mantis’s eat the males but I just didn’t have the heart to tell him that…)
